Reply to the Orientalists’ Claim That the Quran Was Made Into a Book in the 10th Century

This series of writings was penned in response to certain posts and comments prepared to create confusion about Allah’s word, the Quran.

Recently, certain orientalists in particular have begun to defend a number of imaginary claims, such as that the Quran was formed not in the 7th century but much later, in the 10th or 11th century, by being compiled from certain Christian prayer booklets. They even took the matter further, to the point of the desperation of defending even such an absurd claim as that Prophet Muhammad, who was appointed as an example for humanity, never lived….

So, to what date do the first copies of the Quran really belong scientifically, and what are the scientific studies on this?… In which earliest document does the name of Prophet Muhammad occur scientifically?… Let us answer these, however absurd and devoid of good intent the questions and claims may be. let us answer….

Previously I had proved to you that a Quran, dated to the time of Prophet Muhammad and immediately after it, classified and scientifically studied by the University of Tübingen in Germany, containing exactly 4 surahs (Al-Isra, As-Saffat, Al-Hadid and Ya-Sin) and in the form of 160 pages, was dated to only 20 years after the Prophet’s known date of death, that is, to the years 649-675. When it was established at an independent institute in Switzerland that these pages belong to this date, certain orientalist researchers who say that the Quran was brought into being in its known form at the end of the 10th century objected to this claim of mine by arguing that this mushaf was not COMPLETE and that moreover the name of Prophet Muhammad does not occur in the existing surahs.

Later they even overlooked the discovery, in the German State Library, of Quran fragments belonging to the very time in which Prophet Muhammad lived, and they even showed the shamelessness of continuing these absurd claims….

Now I want to talk about a scientific datum through which absurd claims such as that Allah’s word the Quran was compiled at the end of the 10th century and that the exemplary messenger to humanity. Prophet Muhammad never lived will now come to an end until the Day of Judgment…..

THE SANA’A MUSHAF

This Quran, found in 1972 in the historic storeroom of the mosque of Sana’a, known by the same name, in the city of Sana’a in Yemen, proves the following with a reality so certain that it will sweep such claims into the dustbin of history…..

1) Allah’s word the Quran is not, as the orientalist polytheists say, (God forbid) a compiled book written at the end of the 10th century.Because, as Gerd R. Puin, who studied the Sana’a mushaf, also had to admit in the 2nd minute of his interview on the National Geographic channel, this mushaf belongs to the years 705-715. Yet, in the book ‘New Paths of Quran Research’ that they wrote together, Karl- Heinz Ohlig and Hans Caspar Graf von Bothmer, on the other hand, had to admit that the determination made by the C14 carbon test. the mushaf points to the years 657-690.

2) Because of the fact that his name does not occur in the previously found Quran fragments, there is also no longer any possibility of continuing the claims that Prophet Muhammad was (God forbid) an imaginary person who never lived. Yet in the SANA’A mushaf, thanks be to Allah, there are all the surahs in which the name of Prophet Muhammad occurs. In any case the Sana’a mushaf contains 86% of the whole Quran.

As is known, the glorious name of Prophet Muhammad occurs in 4 places in the Quran.
These surahs and the relevant verses are the following.
*Surah Al-Imran verse 144
*Surah Al-Ahzab verse 40
*Surah Al-Fath verse 29 and
*Surah Muhammad verse 2…

As can be seen in the very valuable work of the esteemed Prof. Tayyar Altıkulaç, the only Muslim to have worked on the Sana’a Mushaf, published by the OIC’s IRCICA publications and also containing page-by-page pictures of the Sana’a mushaf, the surahs and verses in which the name of Prophet Muhammad occurs are seen VERY CLEARLY in the original.Although it is in Kufic script and without vowel marks as of that period, I and my friends who helped me observed this point very clearly, and on the pictures we established this by framing both the word MUHAMMAD inside the original verse and the same on the present-day computer-typeset Arabic text…

The First CONCLUSION of the Series of Writings…

The scientific establishment of these two facts has now swept into the dustbin of history, whoever may claim it, the sophistry that the Quran was (God forbid) compiled at the end of the 10th century and that Prophet Muhammad never lived.

No one is obliged to believe in the reality that the Quran is Allah’s word, despite its hundreds and thousands of miracles (This subject will also be continued later). Nor even in the reality of creation, despite all its scientific evidence. One may look upon it with doubt or with denial. This is a person’s most natural right. For those who do not believe or who leave the religion in this world, the Quran does not prescribe a worldly punishment either. But ….
To say lies and falsehoods contrary to science and reason is shameful in every age and geography and sooner or later greatly embarrasses the one who says them…..
